The UK is scheduled to host the World Women's World Cup for the year 2035 as the only “correct” bidder for the tournament, according to FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
A joint presentation was made in March by England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, suggested that the championship be organized through the four home countries within 10 years.
FIFA hosting rules require competition in Europe or Africa for that edition.
Last week, Rafael Lausanne, President of the Football Association in Spain, indicated that Spain was exploring a joint offer with Portugal and Morocco.
However, with the closure of interest advertisements now, Infantino confirmed that the UK's presentation is the only official offer for 2035.
“Today I can confirm as part of the bidding process that we received a single offer for 2031 and one valid offer for 2035,” Infantino announced at the UEFA conference in Belgrade.

“The year 2031 is the United States of America and perhaps some other Concacaf members, 2035 offer from Europe and home countries.
“So the road is in the Women's World Cup in 2031 and 2035 in some great countries and increases the increase in women's football.”
Mark Polingham, CEO of the Federation Company, was pleased with the news.
He added: “We are honored to be the only bidding of the FIFA World Cup FIFA 2035. The hard work now begins to develop the best possible offer by the end of the year.”
“We know from the euro experience (in 2022) what is the size of the game already here and what the momentum did in the country. Another cycle on a larger stage will be incredible and give another boost to the game,” said Sarina and Yumman, the main director of Assad.
Official bids must be presented this winter, with FIFA assignment to confirm the hosts by voting at the 2026 conference.
Infantino also revealed that the 2031 Women's World Cup will expand to 48 teams, an increase of 32 teams planned for the 2027 version.
If confirmed, the 2035 Championship will celebrate the second time that the World Cup in the UK, following the 1966 Men Championship in England.
