Rugby union: England head to Argentina for two Tests this summer

England will play two Tests against Argentina in July on their first tour of South America since 2017.

Steve Borthwick's side are scheduled to face Argentina in La Plata on July 5 and San Juan on July 12.

The fixtures clash with the British and Irish Lions' tour of Australia, so Borthwick will likely have a depleted squad.

England won both Tests during their tour of Argentina in 2017.

The last meeting between the two countries was the match for third place in the 2023 World Cup. Which England won 26-23.

Argentina's opening match of the summer comes against the British and Irish Lions in Dublin on June 20.
