World number one Ravindra Jadeja brought a hilarious moment to the field during the fourth Test match against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). Ravindra Jadeja was seen imitating the unique bowling move of his teammate, Jasprit Bumrah, in front of him during the opening day.
Australian debutant Sam Konstas had an impressive outing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday 26 December. However, Jasprit Bumrah scored some wickets, giving India some hope. At stumps on day one, the hosts were 311/6, with Steve Smith (68*) and skipper Pat Cummins (8*) at the crease.

Ravindra Jadeja provided India's first breakthrough in the first innings
Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bat first. Sam Konstas entertained the Melbourne crowd with his aggressive batting style. The 19-year-old reached his half-century in the first Test in just 52 balls, but his knock ended when he was dismissed by spinner Ravindra Jadeja.
After Konstas's dismissal, Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne added a 65-run stand for the second wicket. Al Khawaja reached his maiden half-century in the series off 101 balls. However, the southpaw was dismissed after he misjudged the track-half off Bumrah and edged the ball over mid-wicket for 57.
Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Travis Head for an absolute peach duck
Labuschagne and Steve Smith formed an 83-run stand for the third wicket, putting Australia in a strong position. However, Labuschagne's aggressive approach led to his downfall as he became Washington Sundar's first victim in the Boxing Day Test. He was caught midway after scoring 72 runs.
Bumrah struck again in the next over, dismissing Travis Head for a duck. The header left a delivery that hit the top of the off-stump. Mitchell Marsh was dismissed for 4 runs after getting the better of wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant. Australia lost three wickets for 9 runs in 24 balls, allowing India to regain the momentum.
Smith and wicket-keeper Alex Carey formed a 53-run stand for the sixth wicket. India suffered some fielding errors, and Bumrah had to leave the field briefly for treatment on a possible calf problem. However, the second new ball worked in India's favour, as Carey was dismissed for 31 minutes by Akesh Deb.
