Prasidh Krishna reveals all about Jasprit Bumrah's shocking injury during the Sydney Test


Team India fast bowler Prasidh Krishna gave a massive update on skipper Jasprit Bumrah's injury concerns after day two of the fifth Border-Gavaskar series test in Sydney. Prasidh Krishna said that Jasprit Bumrah is suffering from a back spasm and the medical team is monitoring him in preparation for the must-win match in the series.

Bumrah left the dressing room and the field midway through the second session on the second day. After bowling just once after lunch, the bowler did not return to the field. With Bumrah's absence, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna took over the bowling duties for India in Australia's bowling.

Jasprit Bumrah appeared to be holding his back as he exited and was seen changing into his training clothes. The right-arm pacer had to walk off the field for sweeps and was escorted to the team car by the support staff. He later returned to the field in Sydney and headed straight to the dressing room.

Prasidh Krishna confirmed in a press conference that Bumrah suffered a back spasm. He added that the medical team is monitoring Bumrah's condition. Krishna stated that the medical team will provide further updates on his condition.

“He was suffering from a back spasm. The medical team is monitoring him. He has undergone an examination. The medical team will update his condition,” Krishna told reporters.
