Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim wants his players to make one change

Manchester United suffered a humiliating defeat against Bournemouth in the English Premier League at the weekend.

It was another poor performance from the Red Devils, but it was no surprise to see them disappoint once again.

The entire season has been like this for them as they failed to find consistency and win.

The defeat comes days after they were eliminated from the League Cup, where they lost 4-3 to Tottenham.

After the home defeat to Bournemouth, Amorim pointed out the change his players must make to avoid results like this.

Amorim spoke to BBC Match of the Day He advised his players to remain calm whenever they concede any goal.

He said:

“It's really difficult, especially if you watch the game. We conceded one foul and then scored a goal. We were winning the second balls and creating chances.”

“We conceded a penalty and then the third goal. It was really difficult for the fans. We have to come back again in the next match.”

“We have a lot of situations where they were able to score a little bit like Tottenham. It's really difficult for everyone on the pitch. We have to fight in this moment.”

“We have to stay calm when we get a goal. It was similar in the last match. Players need to understand that the match has different moments.

The Portuguese manager seems reasonable in his assessment as this has been the norm at Manchester United for some time.

Whenever they concede a goal, they lose their composure and start conceding more goals due to their impatience.

Even under former coach Erik ten Hag, this was the problem with the players. In such situations, they have to show leadership and character and remember that they can get back into the game with just a few moments to their advantage.

The Red Devils travel away to Wolves on Boxing Day, and Amorim will be hoping his players work to address that particular weakness.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford's future at the club could be in jeopardy After his recent snub from the team.
