Macan says that Ferguson proves that people are wrong as President of Rangers.

Rangers assistant, Neil McCann, insists that the interim coach in his head, Barry Ferguson has already proven to be wrong in his suitability for this role.

Ferguson was installed until the end of the season after the departure of Philippe Clement in February and led the team to the Championship of the European League and his first victory in Celtic Park since 2020.

Rangers continued this success 3-2 derby by defeating 4-3 against Dundy at the end of last week, coming from 2-0 and 3-1 in Dens Park.

“I think that many people may think about his biography that he may not even be ready to take this position,” said Macan of Ferguson, who left his former position as a sports director in 2022.

“I think it has proven this error. It is not a spatial to tell anyone who will get the job or not (after the end of the season). All we can do is hard work.

“He is trying to bring the character he had as a player, and the demands he had a player.

“I think we see that we have little courage about us,” the former Scotland wing continued. “We have a decision.

“There is a mentality that I think Gaffer wanted to change.

“I felt that this should be changed a little and I definitely think we have something there.”
