Former United States Champion Logan Paul could be set to face the 36-year-old icon soon. Paul is not only a WWE star, but he is also a professional boxer with a 1-1 record, and could be his opponent Conor McGregor.
The defector fooled some members of the WWE Universe by telling them he retired after becoming a father. However, he confirmed his move from SmackDown to RAW before the red brand debuted on Netflix.
Speaking in the last episode of Cheap heat podcast, WWE analyst Peter Rosenberg discussed Paul's potential matchup against McGregor. Rosenberg wants to see it, preferring the WWE star to the two-division UFC champion. He also explained why the match wouldn't be difficult to make.
“He's supposedly fighting Conor McGregor, which is an easy fight for them to get done because that's just a TKO there. It's UFC-WWE. I mean, I think I'd be somewhat interested. I'd like to see Logan Paul. I think I'd enjoy that,” Rosenberg said. I beat Conor McGregor. (6:41 – 7:00)

TKO, under Endeavor, owns both WWE and UFC, so a crossover event is certainly possible. Logan Paul is under contract with WWE, while Conor McGregor still has a deal with the UFC despite some legal troubles he faced this year.
While it is unclear what type of match this will be between the two, a neutral option is a boxing bout. Paul is 1-1 as a pro, with wins over Dillon Danis, McGregor's teammate, and YouTuber KSI.
The Notorious, on the other hand, went 0-1, losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his only fight in professional boxing. He also fought Paul “Money” Mayweather in an exhibition bout.
Gunther sends Logan Paul a warning ahead of WWE RAW's debut on Netflix

“If Logan Paul thinks he can come in here and take this away from me, and if he gets to the top of the line to challenge me for the World Heavyweight Championship, it will be my duty and my pleasure to slap that stupid smile off his face.” Gunter said. (h/t fight)
The Ring General is currently waiting for his next challenger after defeating Damian Priest and Finn Balor in a triple threat match on Saturday Night's Main Event.
