Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson's daughter Ava recently took to social media to bid farewell to her WWE friend. The 23-year-old is the current General Manager of NXT.
Ava made her WWE debut in 2020 and signed a contract with the Stamford-based promotion that same year. She began appearing on the company's developmental brand, NXT, as a member of Joe GacySplit faction.
After her stable disbanded, The Rock's daughter became Shawn Michaels' on-screen assistant. However, she was later announced as the youngest general manager of the black and silver brand. Since then, Ava has done a great job in the developmental show.
The 23-year-old recently took to her Instagram Stories to upload a photo of herself NXTBackstage producer Jim Smallman. In her post, Ava thanked Smallman, highlighting his behind-the-scenes role in the split.
The star also appears to have said goodbye to Jim after the latter posted a mysterious story on his Instagram account with a song in the background saying “goodbye.”
“From defection to mayor, thank you for everything you do @jimsmallman,” she wrote.

Dani Garcia, The Rock's ex-wife and Ava's mother, took to her Instagram account to post a photo A touching message to her daughter. Garcia wrote that the 23-year-old embodies “evolving power” and also highlighted how she created her own path to becoming the youngest general manager in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment.
“My daughter, like so many Cuban women before her, embodies sophisticated strength. She has learned to show up strong and has built up her self-confidence, allowing her to forge her own path and, most impressively, to take up space and speak her mind — qualities that served her well as the youngest manager A year in @WWENXT history,” Garcia wrote.
Ava has received widespread acclaim for her work as the General Manager of NXT. It will be interesting to see what Shawn Michaels has planned for the superstar's future on the developmental brand.
