Ross County picked up three invaluable points with an emphatic 3-0 win over a dismal Dundee at Dens Park.
Goals from Noah Chilvers and divers Josh Nisbet and Jordan White secured what was the Staggies' first away Premier League win since September 2023.
With this result, the Highland team advances to tenth place in the table, while Dundee falls to ninth place.
The Dark Blues made two changes to the side that narrowly lost to Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday with Simon Murray and Sion Adewumi coming on for Finn Robertson and Seb Palmer-Holden, who dropped to the bench.
The Staggies made four changes to the starting line-up that lost to St Mirren at home last weekend, with 23-year-old German goalkeeper Jordan Amisah given his first start in place of Jack Hamilton, who dropped to the bench, while Ryan Leake came on. Aidan Denholm and Jack Greaves replace Scott Allardyce, White and Nisbet.
The Dark Blues were the first to threaten when Billy found Kometyo Adewumi on the left and a dangerous cross was cleared by a County defender just ahead of Murray, who was waiting to pull the trigger.
Shortly after, Chilvers tried his luck with a bold shot from inside the middle circle that flew just over the crossbar.
However, Chilvers broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute with a powerful left-footed shot from the edge of the Dundee penalty area that flew low into the bottom corner of Trevor Carson's net.
As the half drew to a close, Chilvers had a long-range shot but it was routinely blocked by Carson before the keeper had to make a vital stop to keep out Ronan Hill's shot.
The Dark Blues continued to make little impression on the Staggies' goal early in the second half with Adewumi's speculative shot flying over Amissah's crossbar in the 59th minute.
Instead, it was County who came close to extending their lead when Ryan Astley had to clear a Ryan Leake effort from his own goal line.
However, the Staggies scored their second goal in the 70th minute as Chilvers found Nisbet inside the Dundee penalty area and made no mistake to finish past Carson.
Eight minutes later the Staggies took a 3-0 lead. Mulligan made a reckless challenge by bringing down Nisbet inside his own penalty area as referee Don Robertson pointed to the penalty spot. White stepped up and calmly sent Carson the wrong way and the ball into the net.
