The Russian -born Daria Cascina said that she was emotional and excited to start a new chapter in her career after successfully replacing her mandate to Australia.
The 12th world was talking to the correspondents for the first time since her request was accepted for permanent residence, as the 27 -year -old girl was appointed to represent Australia for the first time when playing in the Charleston Open Championship this week.

“It is my first official day as an Australian player,” said Cascina on Monday.
“Frankly, it is different, I will not lie. It is emotional for me. I must be accustomed to it. But I am really happy to start this new chapter of my life, which represents Australia on the big stage.”
Kasatkina was born in the western Russian city of Tollyti, and has not returned to the country for more than two years after they left the gay and being one of the few players who publicly spoke against the war.
Russia has appointed LGBTQ+ as extremist and those who support it as terrorists, which paves the way for serious criminal cases against gay people and their preachers.
Casckina, who lives in Dubai and trains in Spain, plans to make Melbourne its home.
“With everything that is happening in my previous country, I did not have a big choice,” Cascina said about her decision to switch citizenship.
“For me, being gay publicly, if I want to be myself, I must take this step, and do that.”
As a higher student, Kasatkina earns goodbye in the first round of Charleston and will open its heroism by playing either Lauren Davis or Jimmy Lob in the second round when Australia is represented for the first time in court.
