Bundesliga giants are making contact over 'frustrated' Chelsea defender.

Bayer Leverkusen have made contact with Chelsea defender Axel Disasi during a potential January move transformationa report claimed.

Disasi appears to be Enzo Maresca's fifth-choice centre-back, behind Levi Colwell, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo in the pecking order, and has made just four Premier League appearances this season.

according to Sky Sports SwitzerlandDisasi is frustrated by his limited role and is now considering leaving Chelsea In January in order to revive his career.

His situation is said to have caught the attention of Bayer Leverkusen, who have approached him to discuss a winter move while sweating over the potential departure of captain Jonathan Tah, who is entering the final six months of his contract and has already made it clear he will do so. The extension is not signed.

Disasi is also attracting interest from Juventus, but the Serie A side will only be able to offer him an initial loan deal – something that may not be of interest to Chelsea.

Maresca, for his part, stressed his desire to keep every player in the squad but acknowledged that those struggling for minutes must decide if they are happy to continue fighting for their future.
