English club Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign defender Julio Soler from Argentine club Lanus for an initial fee of around £6.6 million.
The 19-year-old has made 58 appearances for Lanus since making his debut in 2022.
The Cherries are hoping to seal a deal for Soler in the coming days after agreeing a deal that could eventually be worth around £11.5m if all additional conditions are met.
Paraguayan-born Soler, who has represented Argentina at youth level, is expected to arrive in the UK on Monday to finalize the deal.
Bournemouth Beating Everton 1-0 at Vitality Stadium Saturday kept them in seventh place in the Premier League.
