World number one Aryna Sabalenka said she feels “refreshed and ready to go” for the new tennis season, as she looks to build on her amazing year.
The Belarusian defended her title at the Australian Open in January before winning the US Open in September, her third singles title.
She also replaced Iga Swiatek at the top of the world rankings and claimed first place at the end of the year.
The 26-year-old will open her season at the Brisbane International, which begins on December 29.
“There are a lot of things to improve,” Sabalenka said.
“I'm not that good with my net game in singles. There are a lot of things to improve in my touch.
“Even my serve is not as good as I would like, so there are always (elements) for improvement.”
