Jude Trump is the number one in the world from the tournament after the 10-5 quarter-finals defeated by Barry Hawkins in Manchester.
Trump began well, as he made 2-1 before Hawkins won the six tires following sailing forward.
Trump pulled one comfortable 103 but could not stop Hawkins momentum, with no player linking successive tires from that point.
45 -year -old Hawkins has triumphed over 121 and 81 rest periods to conclude a great victory.
Victory continues in a wonderful collection of the English model Hawkins after Sean Murphy has crushed 10-1 to reach the last eight.
“I just try to focus on what I do makes me play well,” he said.
“I am above the moon. This was not the same performance against Sean, but I still feel that I was hard enough.
“I took most of my opportunities when they came – it is not easy to overcome the first world.”
Hawkins will play either John Higgins or China Ghudong for the Chinese to get a place in the final.
Higgins occupies 5-3 overnights thanks to three-century rest periods, including 137 and 126 to demand the last two frameworks from the first session.
